Tracfone has great customer service. I left my cell phone in my pocket (bad idea) and it dialed a friends number and left a 29 minute answering machine message for my friend until i realized it.
I called tracfone and explained what happened and they gave me my minutes back even though it was my mistake.

Tracfone at sometimes can be slow but they always make it right. For three days I tried to contact their customer service, once I did I let them know about the problem. They sent me a free 60 min card for my trouble.
So what should you do if you're having a problem with the service? Well, the first thing to do would be to contact their regular customer service team, since they can handle many situations right on the phone.
If you call them, you will find that they have an automated answering system, but just select the option that best fits your question, and you should be able to talk to a real person without much of a wait.
You can also email them, but it often takes several days for them to reply, and then it's usually just a form letter that may or may not answer address your situation.
If you do email them, it will ask you to "choose and issue" that describes the problem you are having. For most of the options, you will receive a standard reply about that issue, which may or may not address your specific problem.
It seems, however, that if you choose the "General Inquiry/Questions" option a real person will actually look at your email, but their response still may or may not exactly answer your question.
To contact the regular customer service you will need to go to www.tracfone.com and click on the "contact us" link along the left-hand side to access their customer service contact info with their phone number (1-800-867-7183) and a form to fill out to send a question via email.
OK, let's say you've tried contacting the normal customer service, but they couldn't or didn't fix your problem. Now what?
TracFone has what is called the Executive Resolutions Department that specializes in handling tough problems. This group is the next level of customer service, and should be able to get you fixed up.
When you contact them, you'll never be able to talk to someone right then. That's OK, though, because if you leave your email address and daytime phone number, a member of the group will email and call you back promptly. Usually the next business day.
Click here to find the contact info for the manager of the Executive Resolutions Group on the TracFone website. The long way of getting there is to go to tracfone.com and click on the small "about us" link at the very bottom of the page. Then click on the green "press center" button in the middle of the page, then click the "media contact" link off to the right. Whew!
It seems that the Executive Resolutions Group also monitors the feedback left on the www.planetfeedback.com website. So leaving feedback there is another way to get the best TracFone customer service reps on your case.
The number one tip I can give you when it comes to dealing with customer service is to be patient and calm. Trust me, I know how frustrating it can be to work with customer service at large companies, but yelling at the person on the other end of the phone is not going to help matters any.
Be calm and patient, but also be persistent. Like I said earlier, I have found that TracFone will make any legitimate problem right, just not always as fast as we would like!
